This day is also the day that I met the girls of two bros, Mark & Ron. I was going to be a 7th wheel with Broseph and his girl being there too, but cause of some misunderstandings and mistakes with the booking and all, it ended up being me hanging with Broseph for the day. A pretty fun day started with my usual Saturday routine. and then off to the city. Problems occurred here and there, but in the end, we got to Auscarts! Here are a few pictures: of the equipment, track and a race (not ours)
Before we began to race, we had so much time to kill, so we went for a walk to the nearby Williamstown Beach (I think it was). And here we bumped into a fair few things. One would be the Spirit of Tasmania, that brought back so many memories of our year 9 camps to Tassie and, its been 3 yrs already, how fast does time fly?!
We saw complexes with apartments that were adored by everyone, vowing that all us bros will build Puzzle Corps and buy those for ourselves! And of course, the wedding... There was a couple getting married, Ron and Mark tried to mess up these people's wedding by figuring out what type of fun thing they should do, lol. Didn't succeed though.
Now, the race.. We had to sign up for membership before we could race, and their registration are pretty high-tech with touch screen and all. Here's a pic of Broseph being TOO tall for their machines while Ron is JUST about right xD
And now the race was definitely fun! Sadly everyone got told off, and me (embarassingly) got told off on my first lap ><" Reason was cause I was taking one of the turns too quickly and well, they warned me (keeping in mind that two warnings means "YOU'RE OUT!") Causing me to freak everytime I take a turn, being the slowest of the bros.
Me in shame...
And of course, the slap... It was, epically brutal!
Other than all of those, the night ended with a long wait for the bus and everyone went home separately when I went to meet up with my sisters and watch "Alice in Wonderland". It was pretty good, but not as good as i expected.
And thus ends this post...
Quote of the day:
"Recompense injury with justice, and recompense kindess with kindness." (from none other than Confucius himself)
Also, sorry about not being able to have one of these in a while, but oh well *shrug*
