100th Post

Hey guys!
At long last its my 100th POST!! And good timing too =D


What announcements do I have?
Hrmm... Let's start off with last night. Last night was...


My school's end of year speech night, aka our Year 12 Official Graduation ceremony! =D 
So WHOOO HOOO!!! GRADUATED!! :D :D :D

What's NEXT?!


Well, going back in time, we've also had great moments since the last time I made a post... Like.. we had our Year 12 Formal =D That was FUN!! The excitement in the Family's eyes and face when they saw the Hummer Limo... the joy that they had riding in it! The photo taking galore at the Formal! Continuing into the crazy night at the after party xD (namely just 2 guys and 1 girl ;D) That one night left great memories in the mind and hearts of everyone =]


On wards, all the other days have pretty much just been getting ready for the graduation last night, and bludging around! During this time, did some house moving, catching up with a great classmate who ive known since yr7, and has a strong bond with ;) Presents shopping, and of course spending time with... someone amazing (including the Summerbeatz concert) ;D


And the outing I've ALWAYS DREAMED OFF came TRUE!! :D
I dreamed of having the WHOLE FAMILY out of school together, at least once! And well... It HAPPENED!! =D =D =D

AWESOME!! VCE is finally over! =] Not only that, but just came back from our final year 12 camp ever. It's sad to see that everything is over and that it is time to say goodbye to everything I've known for the past few years =( But, without loss there is no space for improvements... So let's hope that life goes well from here on outwards =D

So many AMAZING things happened since the end of VCE =D =D =D =D =D Lol, all you bros and the family know why I'm smiling so much ;)

Now... It is time to spend the next few days getting ready for our formal! Man, this is going to be pretty tiring, but I'm sure everything will work out well =D

Thangstahh out!

TSSM Chem =(

Today I spent the day in the city with Libro and Heolin at a TSSM Chemistry Unit 4 seminar. Indefinitely I learnt something, but it was done in a period of... not 3... not 6... but 9 HOURS!! ><" The hours spent listening to the teacher was okay with no problem, however he made us do work (o.0) I would have definitely preferred that he just talked and told us what we should know than make us work! Like maybe HOW we should do a question, instead of DO the question =(


Out of the complaining, the past week since then was pretty good. Went to a few different places, and actually did some studying here and there *Nod* Driving is actually pretty fun, and undoubtedly, the best term holidays I've ever had in my life! Not just because I turned 18, but also because.. A lot of new things have happened throughout these two weeks, a lot has changed and a few new experiences have occurred. The simplest of all these, is that I'm actually reading a BOOK! Not ANY BOOK! But one that has economics in it ><'' (courtesy of the Girls of The Family :D) Can't wait to see what else the world has installed for me, but all I know is that after the exams are over, not only will I be free of studies and school, but I'm also going to... take a few more steps in life, have something new in my life :)

New Quay Buffet

A late post, but this is about the last weekday of our semester holidays (a Friday). On that day, 4 of our bros (Ron, Reddy, Me and Tuk), and 4 of the girls (Libro, Murthi, JC and Heolin) went out together to docklands to have yumcha! 

However, by the time we got there, the plan changed, we went to New Quay Buffet instead. The reason to why we went there instead was cause out of no where, most of the people from the group felt like trying it out instead. We asked if we could have a meal there (as in ask the people who work there) and waited outside for an answer. During that time, the rent-able bicycles throughout the city became a good source of photo taking intentions for Ron (the excited one) and of course his great friend Libro, lol. 

The meal eaten at the buffet was definitely great, but that's not the best part. The best part of the whole meal was JC's accidental destruction of the wine glass used for drinking xD It was funny how she did it to, cause it was (literally) out of laughter! Have a look below!

You might be asking, what could she have been laughing at to cause something like that. The answer to that is: Playing around with Ron. What we did was take Ron's glasses and kept hiding it from him, until it was stuck to the back of him, but he still couldn't figure it out where it was xD
On top of that, when Ron brought back a plate of food and went for another serve, everyone took sections of food from his plate, and the waitress took his 'now empty' plate away, so when he returned he was just like (0.0)
ROFL!

Then there was the photo taking at Docklands on the docks/harbour. Other than my... "different" attitude and misbehaviour during the day to cause everyone to worry, it was an awesome day =)

Julies' Birthday & Get Together at Grub's

On Saturday night, the Julie squared had an 18th Birthday. The night was a good catch up with the long unseen friends of mine, and an opportunity to meet many new people. Simply put, it was a night of fun. It is true that as Terri said, I was red as in the face; however, on the plus side I wasn't even close to being drunk or trashed. My stupid genes just proved I drank as I got red.

A side note, if a family member who does something "rebel-ish" and asks if you had done something "rebel-ish" as well; follow the example I took that night, and it'll be a good laugh.
As I got in the car after the party; my dad smelt alcohol and asked "did you drink?". I smelt around and replied, "did you smoke?"
With a sigh and no response, we drove off. 
Lol at how that worked. Kids don't try it at home. Older kids, GO FOR IT!


Something different and new that happened, was that I took upon the position of MVB, and let in Broseph as well as Captain Mark into my house to crash. It may seem like I did a lot to provide space for the two (space, mattresses, blankets, pillows and such); but I would also like to publicly thank the two for being there, just to talk. I needed that :)

Then Monday came, the day to catch up with the friends I've held on to for a long time. One was missing, but that's not a subjective matter right now. The day went along well, with most of the things going to plan. The only factors that may have caused a problem were just Eira's raw cooking; as well as Grub's hard honeycomb and "turd looking" chocolate. It was a good catch up, and amusing to watch the two at work. I did my share of washing, but still felt as though I didn't do much. Here's what the others have to say:

Toy Story & other outings

These holidays are said to be the last holidays for year 12's; as the next set are for study, study, study, and STUDY! *sigh* 
"can't wait for it" ><"


Well that's not the point right now, the point is that I'm trying to make the most of it now! =D
One thing I did a fair bit of during these holidays (up until now) is to be out and well, OUT! lol. I went out to watch Toy Story 3!! Man, waited for this movie for like.. *counts* about 10 years! Funny how the cinema was full with teens more than children; may be cause the story line was actually more teen based than kid based. FUNNY AS movie, with a teary ending *breathes out a sigh of relief* Wish I could watch it again! =D


And Grown Ups! Also another extremely funny movie! 5 of the current most funniest American Movie Actors compiled into one (surprisingly) PG movie! Not expected to be PG, as they are all usually more M15+ based actors, but still! Extremely FUNNY, extremely WORTH IT to watch!!


What else what else... Umm... 
The get together at Reddy's place was fun too! Most the guys showed up, and just hanging and chilling was totally fun =D 
And of course, more stuff planned to happen as well. Hope they all go well too! =)


There was also a few drop by's to buddy's place. Buddy's cooking is surprisingly... not bad... AWESOME in fact xD No way mine's even close to as good in any way ><"

Kim's Wedding

After many weeks and months of practicing and freaking out, the day of Kim's wedding came! Of course it wasn't a REAL wedding, on the other hand, it was a Filo styled 18th; but we called it a wedding cause it seemed like one! Lol, totally FUN!


Below are a few photos of how we looked on the night. Everyone was dressed formally and well, in PURPLE! No Joke! I have never seen so many shades of purple in my life before! So yeah, it was like a practice formal for us, and also a practice wedding for us and the family as well :)
My comment on the night is:
AWESOME! and also surprising..
Surprising not for me, but surprising because all the people there had fun, and it was funny what people did. Some who are usually quiet and shy at school were dancing like NO TOMORROW! And of course, I got that a few times, except the difference is that people say that I can dance, but others don't believe until the day. However, I don't believe I was that good, on the other hand, I feel like I made a fool of myself ><"


Other than the fact that the "wedding" happened, we JUST finished school on Friday so now its holiday time! WHOO HOO! Let's see how that goes =)

The Past Few Weeks

Nothing much has been happening the past few weeks. The only things thats happened were:

Actually, that is a fair bit of stuff.. But it was done throughout a fair bit of time (three weeks). Here's how it went:

Chemistry Excursion
Our chem class went to LaTrobe Uni to work on our Chem Sac on instrumentation. The funny thing is that during lunch time, out of no where, a whole bunch of students+teachers from LaTrobe Uni jumped up and did the whole flash mob thing to an Indian song called "jhoom barabar jhoom" (i think), and it was just LOL!! The topic we talked about for the rest of that day xD

Broseph's Bday Slaps
Broseph's birthday happened on a school day. And.. well.. He got two more of his 6 slaps... Scared most people, happened in the middle of our locker bay, and was.. **BAM BAM BAM**! The sound was loud *nod* However, everyone laughed saying that Ron's slaps were weak and crappy xD

SACs, Sacs and more SACS!
So bad.. cause the thing is that sacs come every single day on the last two weeks of school for term 1, lets hope that it doesnt happen for the other terms as well ><

The iPod story.. HA! Funny, cause what happened was that I took Reddy and Tuk's iPods home to help jailbreak it for them, and on top of that, people on the bus each have an iPod as well. Check out the photo, thats only half of us =O

Athletics Day 2010 (the last one)
Such bad timing! The day before this athletics day, I wrecked my ankle during lunch basketball. Reason was cause of stupid physics! (i.e. what goes up must come down, so when i jumped, came down, with my ankle on the side ><) 
Then here comes the LAST athletics carnival of my life *sigh* so the thing is that I planned not to compete in any races that day even though I signed up. By the end of it... Other than the continuous phrases like "hey thang what races are you comp... ohhh right! xD" everything else was okay. And then, after taking too much of that crap, I couldnt hold it, so went and competed in the 800m race. Some of my friends said i shouldnt, but as a guy.. i can lose an arm, i can lose a leg, but i CANT, i CANT lose my dignity and pride!
At the end of the day.. My ankle got worse, and well... up until now, it isnt full healed =(

Comedy Fest
The day of the long planned Comedy Festival day came! Started by Libro, dropped by Libro, wanted by many, continued by Me. Seriously, the most stressful day of my life! 
Not sure if I was too critical (said by buddy), or if I was just plain stressed out.. But I hope something like that doesn't happen again, or at least I don't have to plan it again ><''

The day summarised in just a few phrases. Sounds simple right? But all the time, effort, planning I put into it was not simple. Trying to help and make it comfortable for everyone, changing it over and OVER and OVER AGAIN!! Modifying once, twice, THREE FOUR FIVE times!! 
Guessing its my own fault for chucking it on myself.

Back to School, Back from Camp

Back to school wasn't too bad. The beginning of class reminded me that it is time to start year 12, and end our high school life. With a new year, I got a new wallpaper for the fun of it, and this new wallpaper is nothing other than my personal favourite group of men, monkey, pig and horse... With their famous phrase from the most recent 2000 something version:

During the holidays, I went back to that yellow dvd shop (Eira and Grubs knows which one I'm talking about ;D ) and bought the following few TVB series:

Face to Fate

Monkey King Quest for the Sutra

Guts of Man

Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion

So let's hope that these TVB series will be as good as I remember they were back then, and I can't wait to get through them!! (I finished Face to Fate already, and it was pretty darn good! =D).

After getting back to school, the new timetable shows that I have a wopping 2-4 studies or free periods a day, making me have too much time on my hands now =D

A series of quick few days led to the first of two year 12 camps for 2010!

Camp was boring to start off with, with a 5-6 hours drive from GC to Portland. The days were spent doing five activities: Kayaking, Surfing, Fishing, Team building games, Bush Walking (my group didn't do the bush walking because it was raining the day that we were suppose to).

The food wasn't too bad during this camp, and well, there wasn't really anything bad during this camp. The only thing close to a "bad thing" that occurred during camp, would be that for some odd reason, the second night I just felt gloomy/depressed for some reason... That wasn't too good.

Kayaking was just GREAT!

Fishing was boring in the sense that I couldn't catch anything and well, i'm not the type of person to sit and be patient xD

These two activities happened on the same day, and cause me to to have the FIRST sunburn in my life! It hurted ><"

Surfing was also fun! We surfed in the rain (which actually made it more fun) and everyone in my group (including me) stood up on our board, riding a wave at least once! Which was definitely awesome!!

Team building activities was also extremely fun, mainly because its just something we don't usually do it with the people we did so with, and well, that actually made it more fun!

Finally, something that topped everything else on the list of activities that we participated in during camp would be the "Talent Night Show". It is a short 1-2 hour period of time when yr 12's got up in groups showing/performing a "talent" which made EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the room laugh!! Great night.. Great night...

The Past & the Present

We know the past events and incidents, we know what's happening in the present. But how about the future?

Lying on my bed the past few nights and not being able to sleep cause of the heat.. I just think. Thinking is usually a good thing, but I think that it was causing me to sleep less and stay awake more. Thinking about what the past was and how it became the present, it makes me think about how the future is and what it's filled with.

2010's year 12, such a big change from the other years we've been through before. Let's hope that it won't be worse compared to the past that I've enjoyed and liked...

Since the 8th till now the 12th, its just been boring or I had nothing much to do. Other than taking a two cousins and Lil_thang to watch "Alvin and the Chipmunks 2" and going to Tuk's bday laser tag game (where Mark ditched the bros... AGAIN!) there wasn't much that happened.

Oh and I also finished the sudoku book that Broseph got me for my birthday last year!

31st:

On the 31st (New Year's Eve), funnily I was ready to spend the day at home, but that wasn't what ended up happening. Bro-in-Law & Jie wanted to go to NZ for their holidays, so they brought Birre (aka Dumpling) over for me to look after. As my aunt drove those two off to the airport, she left her kids for me to look after.

My aunt's return resulted in my two cousins, her and me going to Brimbank Central and then St. Albans for dinner. I rushed home later as the rest of the family returned, and the celebration for the upcoming New Year began...

1st:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year to all!! It's great to enter this year of 2010!

18th birthdays begin... NOW! and on top of that, there's a whole list of hardcore studying waiting to begin (due to year 12).

2nd -> present day 7th:

Most of these days were spent at home watching Journey to the West 1&2 and King of Snooker (pictures shown below). Then there was a visit to Science works Museum and watched their fame Lightning Room show and Planetarium!

There was also a day where I had cousins sleeping over and resulted in a full day of cousins running around the house!

And finally there was fun in the outing with Grubs and Eira. Funnily, I haven't seen a post from them just yet, but I'm sure they'll put something up soon..

The Past Few Days

From the 18th December --> 30th December Overview.

18th:

On the 18th, I went to the Holland's 18th Birthday Party!! This day was surprisingly tiring, even though it wasn't my party. Reason to that was cause well, here it is-

In the morning, I got dropped off at my grandma's place in Sunshine. As the day went by, I got a call from Broseph regarding the party. I then realised that I don't have the present with me! =O I quickly ran, trained, bused home, and then returned to my grandma's place (this took about 2 hours). Later I headed to the party.

At 4:23pm, I left the party to go to the city to bring back Heolin and Libro to the birthday party. On my way there I bought Bro-in-law and Jie's Christmas presents. Returning to the birthday party, I didn't stay too long.

After this birthday party, I headed off to Jen's cousin Christmas party. We had fun as we haven't seen each other (cousins) in a while. And at night we went to sleep over at Jie's place.

19th:

Today, we (Jie, Lil_thang and me) went to Chadstone shopping centre to buy Christmas presents, and just to shop. We also went to China Bar (Asian Buffet). It was SOO GOOD!! =D

20th:

Happy Birthday to Lil_thang & the Triplets!!

Today, I took my cousins to Fun City Laser Tag, and they surely loved it! We played about 3 games of Laser Tag, and 1 game of Bungee Running (similar to bungee jumping, except u run forward and get pulled back by the rope attached to the back of the vest your wearing).

This night, we also had our family Christmas party + Lil_thang and N. Cai's birthday party! I guess that's it. That whole day was full of FUN FUN FUN!!!

21st:

The day was spent at home, and that was it.

22nd:

I was at Sunshine today. I took my cousins to Sunshine Market Place and we hanged around there. Afterwards we went to Safeway to buy some snacks and drinks, then headed back to my grandma's place and watched movies while eating the snacks we just bought.

23rd:

The hottest day of the week reaching 38, 39 degrees Celcius. A lunch at Footscray then Lil_thang, Puyi aunt (from hk), and me went to Mc to meet up with Jie and bro-in-law. At Mc I visited Libro and Heolin working at Borders' gift wrapping section.

As we all met up, we went to watch Avatar and ate at a place called Big Mama.

The night ended great! (great meal)

24th:

Today I went to the city to walk around (bought Journey to the West 1+2) and then meet up with Heolin and Libro. As those two were working in Borders, I took books off the shelves and read them (yes I read =O). The sad thing was that I had to eat lunch alone, cause the other two said they werent hungry and went to work, so i was left alone =( BUT lunch was YUMMY! =D

After we finished the day, we went to Footscray for dinner, then I went to Church with Jie, bro-in-law, lil_thang, puyi aunt and youngest aunt on dad's side. It was actually fun =D

25th:

Firstly, Merry Christmas to all!! Ho Ho Ho!!

Christmas is a day that we are suppose to spent with family, and I did this to the dot! I spent the day helping dad and my uncle clean out the shop. This was cause we were separating the joint stores to just one shop. As we cleaned things out we went from Carlton to St.Albans. To load and then to unload. This took the whole day, and it is darn tiring! Christmas ended with nothing more than a FEAST at Jie's place =D

26th:

BOXING DAY!! WHOO HOO!!

Waking up early in the morning, my parents and I went to Wg to get the 'spend $200 and pay $1 to get a Navman/iPod Nano'. We did this and I bought an iPod Touch, and got a Navman for $1!! =D

The rest of the day was spent with Jie at Doncaster Westfield. I could only buy two Industrie t-shirts and that was all. Not ALOT but enough to make me happy =)

This night, after dinner at grandma's, my parents, Lil_thang, and relatives from HK all left for Sydney and Canberra.

Thus starts my new adventures at home alone =D

27th:

Spending the day trying to figure out my iPod continued as I left the house and stayed at grandma's place for the night. I went to watch "Zombieland" with T.A.O, and surprisingly bumped into T! T was a friend from HE primary, and I swear I haven't seen her in years! So it was a good little hello.

The night spent sleeping at grandma's wasn't bad, and pretty relaxing. I just felt bad waking them up at night to open the door for me ><"

28th:

Travelling to the city with Eira from Sunshine, we watched the long awaited STORM WARRIORS!! =D (click here for previous post on Storm Warriors). Later the rest of the day was spent at Cue City and we headed over to my place for foosball! After Eira left my place, my days of being alone began....

29th & 30th:

Two days spent at home downloading things, watching teevee and looking after myself.

Haven't been home much

Whoa! I haven't been home much this week, well let's re-cap:

Saturday:

The only thing I did this day was to go to Brimbank to buy that slim black tie I wanted and some drinks for the dinner that night. That night, we had a dinner at our place, hosting as a way to thank all our relatives coming over from Sydney and Hong Kong to attend my parent's 25th anniversary party the following night. I also worked on and completed my parent's 25th anniversary video clip (I'll upload it tomorrow).

Also our teevee broke down today so it's screwed up ><"

Sunday:

In the morning, a bunch of us cousins and two aunts from Sydney went to Fun Galore to play Laser Tag! It was pretty fun, and WAYY bigger than Fun City! We also had my parent's 25th anniversary this night as well. It was pretty much a success! =D

PLUS i clawed another toy! =) I thought it was scooby doo, but it wasnt ><

Monday:

I spent most of the day at home, and went to Reddy's place for his birthday party at night. Thanks to Collado for giving me a lift to and fro, as well as being there! It was a great party with most of the bros there hanging and chilling out.

Tuesday:

Today, we (Sydney aunt, Tao, Lil_thang and me) headed out to my parent's shop, and then walked around the city. And then out for dinner. During the day, there was also the extremely sad notification of my c**p Study Scores my Methods and Chinese Second Language.

Wednesday:

Such a shockingly hot day! I went out to the library to help tutor JC for a bit xD That's right! I helped her out with school work, KINDA OF like a tutor, not really though. At night, I went to Hp with my parents to buy presents. They bought Christmas presents for their staff while I checked out presents for family. A repairman came over and took our teevee away to get it fixed, and I hope that it's fine!

Thursday:

I tried out a chem tutor today with Heolin. This tutor was pretty good and situated within the Western side of Taylors Lakes. On top of that I finished downloading Storm Riders (風雲) and is re-watching it, cause well Storm Warriors is out!! =D so I'm just reminding myself what the story line was, and it's SOO GOOD!!

To top of good things, our teevee returned and its... AWESOME AGAIN!! =D

This is so true. If you ever just met someone, go and get to know them. Who knows, you might just become to besterest friends ever!

Yumcha Outing

AT LAST!! The long awaited Yumcha outing that I promised Libro in year 9 (which has been 2 years now) was accomplished/completed/put into action. Out of the 11 people who said they were going to go, it ended up being 9.5, because Mark wasn't there for the day (AGAIN!!), and Hentai was only there after the Yumcha part, which is basically the most important part of the day!

We went to the Docks to enjoy this meal, and then spent a part of the day at Crown, and finally, finishing off the day at the city. The people who were with us at the Yumcha place and Docks (the first two photos).

(Libro is the one sitting next to me with the presents in her hands and in front of her).

Finally, the last photo shows of the rest of us (minus the British and plus Hentai) at our final destination (Gloria Jeans Cafe) before going to the train station and heading home.

Now that today is Saturday, the only thing left to do.. is to finish off that movie and get ready for tomorrow's Anniversary party.
