Internal Exam Week

This week was our internal/year 11 exam week. The timetable went:
Monday = normal classes
Tuesday = normal classes
Wednesday = English (should pass)
Chemistry (hope I pass)
Thursday = Double study (other words, basketball)
Friday = Psychology (no study, hope it works out though)
Double Method class (not exams, just class)

Well this whole week has been pretty much BASKETBALL BASKETBALL BASKETBALL! That was cause even though we had exams, I looked forward more to the basketball games we had at lunch instead of the actual exams. This week I've pulled back out my old friend (my glasses!! =O). I haven't used it since... well my last set of exams *shrug*.

The English exam went by fine. The text response and context essays may have had a slight bit of problems, but for sure i did well on the analysis one *thumbs up*.
The Chemistry exam on the other hand.. *rolls eyes* so bad! Didn't study at all for it, so pretty much went in with the heart to fail or slightly pass. So let's just sit back and hope I pass *nod*.

Today was funny xD We spent most of the day playing basketball *nod*. I think about four games?
Most are of Tuk, Hentai, Broseph, Mark, Big Mouth and I.
One had OFM, and another, Robinson and Collado.
Another was Hentai, Broseph, Libro, Heolin, Nav-nav and me! (that was a funny game).
So yeah, so tired from that, and I believe my school shoes broke ><"
So its SUPER GLUE time!! =D
And I'm pretty much bruised and pained all over my body ><>

Something that we haven't had in AGES happened today. We had a practice fire drill. It was actually funny, cause like I was with Broseph, Libro, Nav-nav, Hentai and Heolin. We thought that it was a lock down drill, therefore went into the closest room to hide (in practice). Later, our maths teacher came in and told us that it was actually a fire drill *rolls eyes*, than we went back out and went to line up, and well.. there was only like 6 of us from all of yr 11 that made it out of the "fire" xD
And yeah, that was my day!

Quote of the day:
"... yeah that's what she said ;)"
LMFAO! a dirty joke that us guys use, and yeah thats it!

Another set of weekends

Time flies doesn't it?
Well, another set of weekends are over. The time for my final year (and life time) of Chinese and Methods exams are drawing closer!

We finished our final Chinese Sac for our WHOLE LIVES on Saturday, so WHOOPY to that *thumbs up*. It was actually a funny story that day. We got into class and the teacher suddenly goes (in Chinese), "Your doing your Sac today." Everyone went "wth?!" But I'm sure everyone went fine, there's no dumbies in our Chinese class, everyone's pretty smart. Another funny/sad thing that happened during that Chinese class was that people aged 12-16 were chosen to help out with a survey on young adults (or teens) with a Chinese background. It was funny and sad cause I never knew it was possible to be too old! Like WTH?! ><"

Tutor went out fine, just felt like a douche going into tutor with three original sized Boost drinks (one for me, one for Lil_thang, one for Heolin [I owe her a drink]). But it was great, cause the games that I downloaded pretty much to show off to Eira, he enjoyed like no tomorrow! Which actually made me feel good =D

And to end up our Saturday night, Jie brought Dumpling (supposedly now called Perry) over, and we went to watch Astro Boy the movie. It wasn't AWESOME, but it was okay.

Sunday.. Woke up and completed 50% of the Bleach: Heat the Soul 6, on my PSP. Then went for a drive. The drove started from my place and went to Coburg (to grandma's grave) and then to Hp (for Lil-thang's swimming lesson), and finally back home. About an hour or so worth of driving, with only one minor accident =)

And that was pretty much my day I guess *nod*

Quote of the day:
"Do as your told!"
I know that this isn't technically a quote, but it's something that people say to one another (mainly someone of authoritative power vs someone they have power over), and well, usually I guess that it's a good idea to do so and not argue back, cause it's known as "talking back"
*rolls eyes*

Combination Sudoku?

Haven't been posting this past week cause well, there really wasn't much to post about. School life is pretty boring like this. Well up until now I've finished all 8 of the list of things that made last week till this week stressful, so YAH to that *thumbs up*.

Thanks to Tuk, I got my psp re-cracked (yes it was cracked in the start, but then it got upgraded and needed a re-crack), so THNX to him! And now I'm just trying out some new games I downloaded. There's only three, and they are:
1. Bleach: Heat the Soul 6
2. Fate Unlimited Codes Portable
3. Kidou Senshi Gundam, Gundam vs Gundam
Let's see how they go, and let's hope they ain't all that bad!

The only really funny thing that happened this week on/off the bus would be that Mark got shattered. He asked Seth Rogen douche what his name was, and was shattered to find out that it was Just Josh *shattered*. On top of that, it was funny how we saw, THE TURTLE AGAIN!! =D This turtle is a kid who used to go to McK primary, who wears glasses is chubby, wears green (McK's uniform) and well.. looks like a turtle! We saw this turtle again on a different route, but he was wearing a different uniform guessing his just been promoted to year 7 then *shrug*.

Let's see...
Oh right! Just got a new program to make movies on, called "Adobe After Effects". It's not really making movies, but more like (as name states) changing and adding effects to the clip therefore allowing a better movie video! If anyone is pro at it, PLEASE teach me! I'm having trouble just looking at the sections of the program trying to figure out what to do. I hope that I can get use to it and find out how to use it. Than become pro =D

And now to answer the title. Combination Sudoku. It basically is 5 different types of sudoku added up together in the form of a Samurai Sudoku (therefore making it 6 different sudokus). Broseph found this while he was searching the net, and we found this on the website, www.sudokusplashzone.com ,if anyone is interested to take on the challenge. Be my guest and let's see how you go! =)

Quote of the day:
Looking at the "motivational poster below"
It's funny and sad that it's true.
And for us year 11's, even though it ain't Uni, but high school is coming to an end. And for sure, high school life are the best years of our lives, so let's make the most of it!

Dumpling

Last night was pretty funny. Jie comes out during her tutoring session, and randomly asks "do you want a cat?!" I was shocked to randomly here that question. Lil_thang and I debated against looking after a cat. Then Jie took Lil_thang to go have a look at the cat. And in the end, Lil_thang conformed and wanted a cat. They return home saying how they want the cat. In the end, they got as they wished. The little kitten, Dumpling (shown below) [we called it Dumpling, cause 餃子 sounds cool in Canto], is surprisingly well loved by Jie, Lil_thang, dad, but sadly not mum.
And now today, Jie took Dumpling back with her to the country so bro-in-law can check it out, and yuh!

Today was actually a pretty funny day. Mark and me spent time on the bus, off the bus, and during school trying to count what we laugh at everyday on the bus. And we ended up coming up with a top 25 list! it goes:
1. Lentini xD
2. Run across the street guy
3. Fat guy 1
4. Fat guy 2!
5. Rocky (aka dancing dude!)
6. Dude that walks funny
7. The Train xD
8. PINK HOUSE!!
9. Monobrow chick
10. 70's satellite dish
11. Guy that looks like OFM/Hentai combined xD
12. Seth Rogen douche
13. Lollypop Men (who stands at traffic light pushing the pedestrian crossing button)
14. Andrew's house
15. Smashed car
16. Muzza Indian xD (fluro orange turban, trackies)
17. Jindayne Avenue's DilshanSSSSS
18. Statue of Buddha infront of a white family's house *shrug*
19. Like 100000 houses numbered 69 xD
20. Farmalnd (basically a cluster of streets that are all named to something related to farm, eg dairy, stable)
21. Street sign that's leaning, therefore close to smashing our bus
22. Dude that looks like Tuk, but in a BMW
23. Martin's AWESOME comments on random things xD
24. Failed ute with spoiler
25. Fat chick who waves at martin.

These 25 are just examples of the epic fun with have on the bus everyday xD Of course as examples, theres WAYY more here, there and EVERYWHERE!!
If want more information of the fun we have laughing on the bus, please don't hesitate to contact Mark, or myself.

Cheers!

P.s. weird incident of seeing a little toy horse in the chem lab today.. *shrug*
according to Hentai and Mark.. HORSEY STYLE!
LMFAO!!

Quote of the day:
"Laughter is by definition, healthy"
So true so true!
Everyone who is on our bus is healthy xD
This works with the other quote, "Laughter is the best medicine"
Both about being healthy, and both about laughter =D

Ip Man, 2nd Time

WHOA!!
Yesterday was Saturday, therefore I had to go Chinese school and tutor. As we began the class of our weekly Chinese school, our teacher states that for the first time, only ONE of our classmates received 100% on our Reading & Responding SAC. Everyone wondered who it was. As Philly (one of teacher's most worried students) came back with he results, we were all surprised at how he received 92%! I started to worry myself about what I can get, if he gets higher than me, I'll flip! Then i went up to get my results. I flipped open the page, and... WHOA!! I was the one who got 100% =D It was surprising, yet awesome at the same time!!
So proud of myself xD, and that was what I bragged/boasted about for the day (sorry to the people I bragged to, but it was surprising and I was extremely happy).

As the day went on, night time came. Two of my cousins came over to my place, and I had to babysit them. So I turned on Ip Man (poster shown below) so they could watch. This was a film dedicated to Bruce Lee's master. The Grandmaster of Wing Chun, known as Ip Man (or Yip Mun). It was such an awesome movie! This was the 2nd time I saw it, and its still so good!!

Now today was a Sunday, so it was way different compared to yesterday. I woke up at about 10-ish in the morning and started to pack my printed camp photos into the photo album that I got for my birthday last year. That took a long one hour. Afterwards, went for my driving practice session with dad, and then as I returned home, finished my English Text Response essay. That's it!

I see that's my day, well for now.

Quote of the day:
"An eye for an eye will only make the world blind" (quote from Mohandas Gandhi)
Such a deep quote, that I'm sure everyone would've heard of before. Let's just hope this isn't true, and the world won't end up blind.

Avondale Camp Trailer

Yahh!!
Another Exam done!! =D
The Methods Trial Exam 2... CONQUERED!!

Today was so tiring ><
Spent LITERALLY 6 periods studying MATHS!! *rolls eyes*
I spent the first 4 periods of today studying for maths, and the last 2 periods to do the actual Methods Exam 2. Even though it was a trial, it was important as it was good practice I guess *nod*

Other than that, here's the trailer to the Avondale Camp. Enjoy! (For my bros/friends of GC, I'll have the copy on me when we're back to school on Monday)

That's all for tonight!

Half-way till stress free!

Whoo Hoo! Finished the:
Maths Trial Exam 1
RE Exam Unit 2 Exam 1
RE Exam Unit 2 Exam 2
English Persuasive Piece!!

Finished 4 of the 8 things that are causing me stress lately.
By tomorrow, I'll finish the Maths Trial Exam 2.
Then next week's Monday:
Chemistry Chapter 16&18 Sac
English Text Response.

And of course, finally the English Context Essay will end next week for me on a Friday.
After that, our Internal Year 11 Exams begin, then our External Mathematical Methods Exams start!!
And then the Chinese Written Exam!! *hyperventilates* and after that...

Stress free till mid next year *phew*

Let's hope everything goes well. Went to pick up the photos from K-mart just a while ago. Not perfectly printed, but not bad *nod* Heolin wants to see them, so I'll let her see them at tutor on Saturday, and then chuck them into my photo album that night. (stack of camp photos shown below)

I also finished my camp trailer clip (took me a period to do so), but not fully done, cause I'm still waiting for Ron's music for background music, as a finishing touch. I should be able to finish it by tomorrow's class. Or at least hope I can *nod*

That's about it for tonight, and the pass few days have just been studying work, so I guess that those ain't important enough to be posted, xD

Quote of the day:
"Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't." (quote of Eric Jong)
Ha! What a funny approach, but it isn't totally false. So I guess that means we should just WATCH OUT on things like this

--Camp trailer will be posted on my next post--

Stressing out

The weekends that just passed weren't too bad. Saturday went by fine with nothing but a simple set of mock exams (Chinese & Methods). The only "bad" thing that happened, would be the fact that the tram at Footscray was like over half an hour late! ><" It was so bad!!

On Sunday, the only thing I did was to go to K-mart to print out camp photos. I printed about $25 worth of photos. That was about 140 something i guess. And I went driving on Sunday, got told off by dad a few times as usual, and thats it...

Hrmmm, I can't think of anything else that happened.. Well, let's end with something that I gotta do in the coming week, and/or till I'm stress free for a little while.
1. Methods Trial Exam 1
2. Methods Trial Exam 2
3. RE Unit 1&2 Exam 1
4. RE Unit 1&2 Exam 2
5. English Persuasive Piece
6. English Text Response
7. English Context Essay
8. Chemistry Chapter 16&18 Sac

I guess that's all about now.. *shrug*

Quote of the Day:
"Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow; Don't walk behind me, I may not lead; Walk beside me, and just be my friend."
Such a nice/corny quote, but its pretty nice to read *nod*

First week of term 3... CONQUERED!

Whoa... such an epic first week back to term 4! Finished two sacs (Methods, probability and RE ethics), and one Chinese oral exam! Now next week, got four exams! (2 Methods trial, and 2 RE Unit 3+4) Let's hope everything goes well!

As usual, a Friday, so I took the train to tutor, and as usual, I was late for the train, and got to tutor about 15 minutes late. The only good thing that happened, is that for once there were apple pies that just got made at Maccas when I stopped by! So WHOO HOO there!

Ain't much to talk about nowadays, cause I'm back at school.. Well, not sure if others have noticed.. But what's up with Libro, Nav nav & Neddy lately? Been asking, and I haven't got an answer yet *sigh*, I want my answer!! ><"

That's about it!

Quote of the day:
"It's about the journey, not the destination"
I totally agree! I love hanging out with friends and all during this High School journey, and dread to reach the destination.. other words.. yr 12! ><"
This is also the reason to why I like claw machines too! The journey is the best part! Try so hard, and getting the reward was good, but mainly cause of the fun journey!

The past few days...

Well the past few days have been pretty much studying I guess. I had my Chinese oral exam today! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be *phew*. The only thing I had problems on, was that I stuttered a bit here and there. So hey! I did pretty well altogether =)
At least let's hope I did...

I also had my probability sac today. Even though most of us only did about half of it, it was still half of it, so WHOO HOO! we nearly finished that!

Even though its been a few days, that's all that really happened. So yeh..

Quote of the day:
"I love humanity but I hate people." (Quote from Edna St. Vincent Millay"
LOL!! this person is funny xD

First day of School + Yesterday

I didn't have time to post anything yesterday night, cause my family was out for dinner last night in Richmond, and I had to spend time packing and getting ready for school. On top of that, I was also working on my bound reference and technically I've CONQUERED IT!! WHOO HOO!! Congrats to me!

However, the morning of yesterday till late in the afternoon was the most tiring, yet relaxing, time of my holidays. It was relaxing cause I was sitting on the couch the whole day. But it was tiring, because I was playing on the PS3 the whole day xD. I clocked "Terminator Salvation" and played a bit of "Lego: Batman" and "Army of Two". The games were way easier to play cause I had my cousins T.A.O. and Hi-son over for most of the day, so they helped me conquer the games! =D

Today was the first day back to school. GC looks so different now! This will be mainly cause of the new concrete area that the school has. On the concrete area, there's also a lot of posts with sails acting as the roof of the concrete area, but with flaws of spacing that will surely let rain and sunlight to wet and burn the people under the sails.

Most of the day was used to catch up with the bros, peers, friends and the mob. A failed attempt to collect photos of camp from everyone resulted in me only getting photos from Libro, Heolin, and a minimal section of Botany's photos. Let's just hope I can get more and more photos from other people to expand my library of camp photos, and aid in the creation of my soon-to-be camp video clip! At the moment, I'm guessing that this clip will be about 12-15 minutes long! That seems a tiny bit too long for the audience, so I guess I might make a short version of about 5 minutes, and the full length one of 12-15 minutes. As I'll be doing this during the Christmas holidays, I guess that I might have time to create a trailer for it too xD.

That seems to be pretty much my whole day! I wonder if anything awesome or good will happen tomorrow. =)

Quote of the day:
"Anyone can give advice, but a real friend will lend a helping hand."
So if there's a "friend" who talk more than help, looks like they ain't "real"..

Mid-Autumn Festival

Today is a day known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, or 中秋節. This day is famous for its full moon, clear skies, moon cakes and lanterns. Traditionally, families sit together to have dinner, with children running around with lanterns, and adults eating moon cakes, drinking tea, chatting and enjoying the beauty of the full moon. However, even though I was with family for dinner tonight, all my cousins are younger than me by a fair bit (weren't playing with lanterns but with the wii instead), and I would rather sit, eat moon cakes, drink tea and enjoy the beauty of the moon; however, the adults were all indoors, no one outdoors, and they don't talk about the same things as me. So, until I obtain freedom of my own transportation, I guess there's no way for me to be out and about on this particular day of the year to chat with someone who is the around about my age and enjoy nature's positive side with me.

As I woke up today I went for a run. This wasn't any simple run, but a run to my buddy's place. The thing is that he/she was coming over to my suburb and then going out to have a basketball game and all, but he/she was so crazy that he/she wanted to walk from their place to mine! That's like a 30 minute run, or a 40-50 minute walk (one way)! As the walk was mainly on a main road, I found it unsafe and dangerous, so I woke up a bit earlier to meet up with my buddy halfway from their place and mine. Because I felt that it was unsafe for him/her to be coming alone, i left my house a bit early, so my buddy doesn't have to walk too far alone. Funnily, this buddy of mine took AGES getting out of their house, so I was about 5 minutes away from their house when I say him/her.
We spent a chunk of the day just walking around my suburb, and then for about an hour, played basketball at a set of basketball courts near CP primary.

Later today, I had to go to tutor, so that went off as usual. Then the night went fine, with me only scaring ONE relative, with that new stud I got (fail!). We also have two relatives (an aunt and uncle) who came down from Sydney who are staying over at our place. They're pretty cool adults (only about 20-30yrs old), as they were the ones who introduced me to Taiwanese drama, specifically "HOT SHOT!" *WHOO HOO!*.

I just got one more chapter (normal distribution) and I finish my bound reference. Let's hope I can finish it tomorrow! That's the aim for tomorrow.

Quote of the day:
"The superior man is modest in his speech, but exceeds in his actions."
Let's hope we can do this...

Proud of myself *nod*

I can't believe what I did today! I woke up at about 10-ish, and had breakfast, brush my teeth, etc until 12. At 12, I pulled out all my books and study material, and sat at a table working from 12-7!! thats like 7 hours! But the thing was that I was only half studying (as Lil_thang had the tv on, I couldnt help to move my head up a few times to see wats going on).

I also took some time off for lunch, and a bit of basketball, as well as shower. But all of that together would be about 1 and a 1/2 hours max i guess. So i still worked for about 5 1/2 hours!
Anyone proud of me? xD

Simply, lets just all be honest =)

Happy Birthday Dad!

*music starts* Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to Dad! Happy Birthday to you! *music ends*
Today is my daddy's birthday! The thing is that it goes by the Lunar Calendar instead of the Calendar that we use, so technically I don't know what's his birth date ><" For dad's birthday we went out the "Just Good Food" in St. Albans for dinner. They were like a small restaurant that wasn't too bad, but can improve.

Most of the day, I was at home, studying for a bit, did a bit of cleaning of my shower/bath room, and went to Brimbank Shopping Centre to buy dad a birthday present. I got him a nice looking vest, which was discounted, so *thumbs up*. OH! and i watched How I Met Your Mother Season 5, Episode 2!! WHOO HOO! funny show!

Hrmm.. I guess thats pretty much my day. Man I'm boring ><"

Quote of the day:
